Lion's Head · Bruce County
Georgian Sunrise Chalet
About this place
Georgian Sunrise Chalet perches on the Niagara Escarpment cliffs at Cape Chin North, between Lion's Head and Tobermory on the Bruce Peninsula, looking straight out over the turquoise water of Georgian Bay. The chalet sleeps eight in four bedrooms — a king, two doubles, and two singles — with two bathrooms under vaulted cedar-beam ceilings. A private stairway leads down to the waterfront, and kayaks, a stand-up paddleboard, and life jackets are included for calm-morning paddles. The 25-foot pulpit-style deck is built for sunrise coffee, and an indoor cedar-lined sauna and fireplace warm up the cooler months. Bed linens and towels are provided, and pets are welcome for a fee. Bruce Trail highlights like Devil's Monument and the Cape Chin cliffs are minutes away, with the Grotto, Singing Sands, and Tobermory about twenty to thirty minutes up the road.
