Eight guests spread out across four bedrooms and two bathrooms on two levels, each with its own living area — the upper one anchored by a fireplace and big windows looking over the water. A wrap-around deck with glass railings keeps the lake view open, and the private dock, included canoe, and waterside fire pit make the most of the rocky-shored, sandy-bottomed shallows, which suit kids, kayaks, and small sailboats. There's a boat launch nearby for anyone trailering in. The cottage rents by the week, Sunday to Sunday, from June through mid-September, with booking requests handled directly through the owner's site.
